Officers executed a warrant on a canal boat, on the Kennet and Avon close to The Wharf automobile park in Devizes, on June 13, and reportedly found three hashish crops.
These crops had been seized and one man, in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of rising hashish.
He has since been given a conditional warning and ordered to attend a drug consciousness course.
Sgt Chris Wickham revealed the warrant was carried out following intelligence offered by a member of the general public.
A spokesperson for the pressure stated: “A person in his 50s was interviewed beneath warning for drug offences following a warrant on a canal boat close to Wharf automobile park, Devizes.
“Police searched the boat and seized three hashish crops on June 13.
“The person was arrested on suspicion of cultivating and producing hashish and was given a conditional warning with a medication consciousness course to attend.”
