The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has seized a parcel containing P3.98 million value of high-grade marijuana or kush and diverse cannabis-infused disposable vapes on the Port of Clark in Pampanga.
In an announcement on Wednesday, the BOC stated the parcel was declared as “accent” from California, USA.
The misdeclared parcel contained 2,132 grams of kush and 156 items of cannabis-infused disposable vapes, BOC stated.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Company (PDEA) confirmed the presence of marijuana within the package deal after samples underwent chemical laboratory evaluation.
The BOC issued a warrant of seizure and detention towards the topic cargo for violation of RA 10863 or the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act in relation to the Complete Harmful Medicine Act.
