Two vape store workers have been arrested and charged after police reportedly seized seven kilos of marijuana, unlawful THC merchandise and over $1,000 in money throughout a search in Norwalk, police stated.
On Thursday, the Norwalk Police Division‘s Particular Providers Division, together with the Connecticut State Division of Shopper Safety’s Drug Management Division, executed a search and seizure warrant at Smoke Home 1 vape store, positioned at 108 Connecticut Ave., as a part of an ongoing investigation into non-licensed smoke and vape retailers promoting marijuana in Norwalk, in accordance with police.
Investigators reportedly seized over seven kilos of marijuana, a number of hundred merchandise containing THC above the authorized stage and roughly $1,200, police stated.
Two workers have been positioned below arrest, in accordance with police.
Nusrat Shaika, 20, of Bronx, New York, was charged with possession with intent to promote one kilogram or extra of hashish, possession of hashish better than one kilogram, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to promote one kilogram or extra of hashish, conspiracy to commit possession better than one kilogram of hashish and conspiracy to commit use of drug paraphernalia, police stated.
MD Shohidul Pleasure, 19, of Queens, New York was charged with possession with intent to promote one kilogram or extra of hashish, possession of hashish better than one kilogram, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to promote one kilogram or extra of hashish, conspiracy to commit possession better than one kilogram of hashish and conspiracy to commit use of drug paraphernalia, in accordance with police.
Each workers have been being held on a $50,000 bonds and scheduled to look in courtroom in Stamford on April 26, police stated.
