HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WNCN) — On March 20, Hope Mills police seized 72 kilos of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms throughout a visitors cease.
At 5:30 p.m., police carried out a visitors cease on a car for shifting violations. Through the visitors cease, police noticed prison exercise.
K-9 Goose responded and carried out a sniff across the car which resulted in a constructive alert to the odor of unlawful medicine.
Police discovered and seized 72 kilos of marijuana, one pound of psilocybin mushrooms and 40 psilocybin mushroom edibles.
Police didn’t say if anybody was arrested and charged. CBS 17 has reached out for extra info.
