GENEVA, IL — Two vape store staff have been introduced into custody Tuesday after police found they have been illegally promoting hashish at a Geneva enterprise, officers mentioned.
Aurora residents Daniel Velasquez, 28, and Kylie Housley, 20, have been charged with a number of felonies after they have been present in possession of greater than 200 grams of hashish and 70 hashish vaping cartridges at Buzz Smoke N Vape, 722 E. State St., based on a Thursday information launch.
Members of the North Central Narcotics Activity Pressure and Geneva Police Division executed a search warrant Tuesday that led to the arrest of the staff, each residing within the 700 block of Orchard Avenue in Aurora.

Velasquez was charged with the next felonies:
- One rely of producing or supply of a managed substance
- Six counts of producing or supply of hashish between 30 to 500 grams
- One rely of possession of hashish over 100 grams
Housley was charged with two counts of producing or supply of hashish between 30 and 500 grams.

The search warrant was granted after the Narcotics Activity Pressure investigated unlawful hashish gross sales on the Geneva enterprise. The enforcement crew is a multi-jurisdictional group coordinated by the Illinois State Police with members from businesses in Kane, McHenry and Prepare dinner County.
